The Company Able Bridge Recruitment are currently working with a manufacturing business that has seen its revenue dramatically increase due to a tactical merger with a complimentary business. Due to the sales order book, there has been an impact on the accounts receivabledepartment and as such we are seeking a credit control administrator who can assist the department (this is a newly created post). The role is currently provisioned for 6 months, however the likelihood of permanency is very high.Benefits of the rolePotential of part or full time workingOn-site free parkingVery generous holiday allowance + a holiday buy schemeStaff discount on productsHealth planPensionThe role reports into the head of credit control who intern reports into the finance manager, with the finance director overseeing all functions of the finance team. You will be working alongside several credit contractors who will be responsible for collectingoutstanding balances.The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the growing credit control team. You will be a fist port of call for all administrative queries and will be accountable for the smooth administration to free up team members.On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;Responsible for raising copy invoices and distributing to customers as required.Processing and allocating cash receipts and ensuring that remittance`s tie up to the correct accounts/invoices.Opening of new client accounts on the main accounting system ensuring that all customer information is accurate.In conjunction with the finance/credit control team, set credit limits for customers accounts.Review of existing credit limits and escalate anomalies/increase requests.Management of the credit control inbox ensuring that e-mails are actioned/sent to the correct colleague.The RequirementsPlease note that candidates on student VISA`s or candidates who have restrictions on working permanently in the UK will not be successful.We are seeking an individual who is available at short notice and who has worked in a finance administrative role (within the UK), for at least 18 months. The team are close nit and enjoy having a fun and collegiate environment. As such we are seeking applicantswho want to go the extra mile for their colleagues.
