Job Description

Front-End DeveloperEdinburgh(Flexible working - 1 or 2 days in office hence commutable distance required)SummaryHigh growth Fintech require additional Front-End Developer who can demonstrate the coding and development expertise to help to define and maintain the current and future services solutions. You will be aligned to agile product and development teams, workingProduct Owners, UI/UX, and other Development teams to realise the product roadmap as well as provide product support through bug fixes. This is a great chance to join at the start of an expansion stages, with technical and personal progression opportunities.As a Front-End Developer your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and maintaining quality code
  • Delivering innovative solutions - bringing ideas and creativity
  • Coordinating between UX and other teams
  • Contributing to achievement of product roadmap
  • Following software best practice and processes
  • Continually enhancing and building a deep knowledge of products and services
  • Selecting, using and improving a broad modern technology stack
To be successful in the post, your experience will include:A track record in a development role, where you have demonstrated the ability to take ownership of the Front-end, sharing responsibilities across design, development and testing through to deploymentThroughout your career you will be able to demonstrate projects with:
  • Successful front-end, web and client-side development
  • JavaScript, JQuery, React, Redux, Vue,
  • HTML5, CSS
  • Git and Version Control
  • Solid creative and Design Principles
  • Understanding of mobile applications development
  • Exposure to RESTful Services / APIs
  • Desire to progress in Cloud enabled solutions, AWS
  • Experience working within an agile development environment
