The key to it all is you, our employees.Role OverviewThe FP&A Project Lead will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Groups new forecasting and budgeting software, designing reports to track the business revenue, cost performance and KPIs for the Group and Hotel Departments. This role willalso support the decommissioning of the current budgeting tool and rebuilding of management reports in our BI tool (Qlik Sense).Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand the projects objectives and success factors by engaging with all the stakeholders involved..
  • Identify and keep track of risks and opportunities of the project.
  • Take the lead role in designing and developing the new reporting and processes, to ensure the provision of high quality and timely financial and management information across the business.
  • Ensure a successful completion of the Business Planning Software project within the agreed times.
  • Supporting and educating data owners to drive improvement in the integrity of budget/forecast data.
  • Provide documentation, support and ad-hoc training to the business on new budgeting and forecasting processes..
  • Develop financial models (including commercial business case preparation), required to support decision making.

  • Fully qualified accountant with appropriate PQ experience and a seasoned FP & A Manager/ Head of FP & A with experience of solving complex business issues.
  • Experience of implementing a new Budgeting/Forecasting Software.
  • Experience interpreting and assimilating multiple data sources, to provide meaningful insight, appropriate recommendations, and clear actions.
  • Demonstrated experience of managing large projects.
  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Macros, Pivots, IFs, Indexing), PowerPoint, Modelling.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement new processes.
Desirable:
  • Experience of working with multi-dimensional reporting tools (e.g. Qlik)
  • Experience of working with scripting languages (e.g. SQL)
  • Hospitality sector knowledge
  • Working knowledge of USALI
