Job Description

A business that has beendescribed as home by existing employees, we drive a culture that is founded on positive change and development.The Opportunity There is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Test Manager to join our team in either Edinburgh, Bristol, Peterborough, or Basingstoke. The role will be working with life and pension products, so experience in that sector would be preferred.Youll be managing a team of finance test analysts who will be responsible for the successful completion of all finance testing - during BAT phases; scripting through go-live support and defect resolution.

  • To plan and manage test execution for key areas allocated, involving and form relationship network across teams to achieve successful implementation.
  • To manage and liaise with senior managers both internal and external.
  • To ensure the accountabilities of the role are delivered in line with Diligentas values of acting with integrity and honesty.
Youll be:
  • Managing the Finance Test process for allocated Client across multiple transformation and change initiatives ensuring internal SLAs are met.
  • Reviewing the project, requirement, and process documentation to ensure they are appropriate for finance testing purposes and then validating the completeness, from a finance perspective, of the BAT test scripts produced by the central Test Team.
  • Supplementing test scripts with appropriate explanative material for use by the Offshore Test Execution Team.
  • Selecting of the finance testing sample cases to ensure appropriate finance testing coverage and clearly specifying the evidence required to demonstrate the tests have "passed".
  • Validating any finance-related testing issues and ownership to resolution of any finance defects found during the testing process.
  • Providing the finance testing approach, progress updates and results in a standard format to the client with appropriate explanatory narrative.
  • Mentoring others. Identifying and building on opportunities for continuous learning.
You should apply if you have:
  • Excellent working knowledge of Life, Pensions and Annuities products and regulations
  • Experience working in a Finance Test role either as an analyst, lead, or manager.
  • Understanding of L&P administration systems and processes both users facing and internally
  • Expert test system knowledge and experience including administration, risk management and test planning.
