Job Description

Fancy joining our client who are transforming their industry sector globallyWhile they are accelerating with pace, this is an ample time to come on board and report directly into the VP of Finance. Working exclusively with our client, Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be hiring for a Finance Officer to join them on a full timepermanent basis in the heart of Edinburgh.We are looking to speak with industry professionals who come with hands on experience in a similar role coupled with either an Accounting Degree or AAT/similar.What will this role involve

  • First point of contact and have responsibility for the processing of the groups financial transactions for both the UK and US
  • Maintaining supplier files with purchase orders and any supporting documentation
  • Prepare procurement reports
  • Responsible for purchase recs, quotes and orders
  • Assist in final reporting
  • Treasury, banking and payment responsibility daily and ensuring all is always accurate
  • Working across Excel, Outlook and Xero
  • Reviewing purchase ledger, expenses, payroll and taxes
  • Payment proposals
  • Employee expenses
  • Sales ledger and work across ad hoc projects.
