As a £100M turnover company ready for significant growth, we plan to double our size in the next five years, and werelooking for an experienced Finance Manager to help support our expansion. Venesky Brown are seeking a meticulous and strategic Finance Manager. The role involves overseeing the Finance team, ensuring streamlined operations, and maintaining collaborative relationships within the teams and across the business. Working a hybrid rolein our Edinburgh office, the Finance Manager will work closely with various departments, providing robust financial guidance, maintaining detailed financial analyses, and ensuring that cash flow forecasts are in sync with credit control and debtor performance.Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be essential in shaping our financial future maintaining effective communication with banks, HMRC, and auditors.Flexible hybrid working arrangement: working 1 or 2 days per week in our central Edinburgh office.Competitive salary of circa: £45,000-£60,000 per annum (includes bonus of up to 10% per annum based on performance)Benefits:- Generous annual leave of 25 days plus public holidays. - Pension scheme with equal 5% contributions from the employee and employer. - A comprehensive benefits package that includes life insurance, private medical insurance, critical illness cover, and a health cash plan.Responsibilities:- Lead the Finance team, cultivating strong internal relationships and ensuring cohesive operations.- Provide integral financial guidance and support to different departments.- Prepare and maintain a comprehensive monthly management pack, including financial performance analyses and KPI summaries.- Align cash flow forecasts with debtor performance, offering detailed projections based on payment histories.- Serve as the primary contact for auditors during the annual audit process.- Generate and present board-level reports encompassing management accounts, budget analyses, and rate card preparations.- Ensure meticulous bookkeeping, manage creditor invoices, and oversee sales and debtor processes.- Uphold compliance with invoice financing and execute supplier payment processes effectively.- Act as the deputy to the Group Financial Controller as required.- Maintain professional communication with banks, HMRC, and auditors.Qualifications and Experience:- CIMA Qualified or part Qualified Management Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.- Proven experience in a dynamic finance environment, preferably within the recruitment industry.- Exceptional communication skills, adept at simplifying complex financial data for diverse audiences.- Proficient in managing accounts, cash flow, and reporting.- Independent initiative combined with effective teamwork capabilities.- Expertise in accounting software such as Sage or Xero and strong Excel skills.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.Required skills
