Job Description

Finance Business Partner - Edinburgh - 12 month contract - £340/inside IR35 Our Public Sector client are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month contract basis. The candidate must be on site in Edinburgh 2 days per week.An experienced Finance Business Partner who is either a qualified CCAB/ACCA Accountant or qualified by experience.The essential skills required for this role are:

  • Establishing constructive working relationships with budget holders and key contacts
  • Effectively evaluating and challenging forecast data and other information
  • Supporting annual budget planning
  • Supporting non-financial users with the Finance
  • Reporting, budget planning and forecasting system
  • Providing financial business advice to a range of senior and business stakeholders, collaborating with HR partners as appropriate
  • An understanding of payroll to support staff forecasting and variance analysis
  • Supporting and managing the month end process and collaborate effectively with Finance team colleagues
  • Identifying, analysing, and articulating key points of strategic information for senior management reporting
