Job Description

Finance Business PartnerLocation: EdinburghJob Type: TemporaryReed Finance are working with a well-established organisation based in Edinburgh seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to join their team on a rolling temporary contract. This role involves assisting in the production of accuratemonthly management accounts, providing key financial support to budget holders, and engaging with various business areas throughout the organisation. The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant with experience in Finance Business Partnering andYear-End processes.Day to day of the role:

  • Assist in the production of accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and analysis
  • Provide Finance Business Partnering and key financial support to budget holders and wider colleagues.
  • Calculate and process monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
  • Assist with Year-end and External audit preparation.
  • Support other Finance Business Partners and Finance Manager with shared team objectives.
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Part-qualified accountant with practical experience of working with Budgets and Management Accounts.
  • Previous experience of Finance Business Partnering and Year-End is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and formulas.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to relay financial information effectively.
  • Great attention to detail and experience of working to tight deadlines.
