Environmental PlannerRemote Working (Occasional Site Visits Across Scotland)Negotiable Salary DOE + Company Pension + Healthcare + Progression OpportunitiesDo you have experience within Planning & Permitting focusing on the environmental component of existing company operations or new developmentsAre you interested in making the move into the thriving Renewable Energy industry where you can play a part in supporting Scotlands leading Biofuels company as they continue to expand both within Scotland as well as across the rest of the UKThis company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and in addition to several major sites under construction they have a number more in their pipeline to be developed across2023. They have also just secured several major partnerships in England so will be growing the business across the whole of the UK in the coming years.In this role you will be working closely alongside the companys Planning Manager to take ownership of planning & permitting projects. This will involve tasks such as preparing applications and appeals, securing planning permissions and environmental permits,visiting sites to determine suitability against requirements and liaising with all stakeholders throughout project progress.The ideal candidate have a solid understanding of the UKs planning system and procedures and will also be highly knowledgeable on environmental legislation.
