Job Description

Location: Edinburgh, Axis HouseSalary: £28.0k - £36.3kReference: REQ1233As a leading energy company, SGN are paving the way in cutting edge research development towards a Net Zero future. From building the world’s first end to end hydrogen system, from turbine tip to burner in the home, to evidencing the suitability of our network for green gases, wherever, whenever, by 2026. THE ROLEThis is a fantastic opportunity to join our Energy Futures team as a LTS Graduate Project Officer.The role will support the delivery of the LTS Futures portfolio of projects and initiatives, developing knowledge, skills and understanding of SGN and the wider energy industry.Key responsibilities will include;

  • Supporting project delivery, coordinating timely provision of pertinent information
  • Drafting reporting both internally and externally
  • Participating in and attending industry workgroups
  • Preparing regular updates on project progress
  • Maintaining and monitoring Project Plans using Microsoft Project

In addition, the successful candidate will hold an HND/HNC in a relevant discipline, and ideally be degree qualified and working towards Chartered/Incorporated status.We’re also looking for;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the gas network/industry (preferred)
  • Project management capabilities/techniques
  • Good communication skills, at all levels
  • Report writing skills
