A growing tech organisation based in Edinburgh is looking for an Electronic Engineer to join their team - its a brand-new opportunity to join a small, dynamic company working on impactful technology.The product is used to improve safety and reliability in critical energy infrastructure. They are growing the technical team, due to a lot of success over the last few years. This is an especially exciting opportunity as you will be a vital member of a teamwhich is innovating a market segment that should see enormous growth over the next decade.YouYou will be carrying out end-to-end design work. There wont be a shortage of projects to work on as you will be helping with the design of their edge devices, everything from PCB design to bits of mechanical engineering! You will help design the automation and identify the sources of failed tests. The product is a low powered device so you will be looking at the design of the integration. Helping with the integration of third-party modules, looking at firmware and platformdesign.* Strong experience in Embedded Hardware Design is required* Bachelors degree in electronic engineering, or related discipline is requiredIts a small team so theres an opportunity to have a big impact! Especially with their plans to double their inhouse electronic design team over the next few years.The company have offices in London and the US, but this role will be based in their central location in Edinburgh.
