Job Description

Electrical Tester / Electrical Test Engineer who has an eye for detail and accuracy with great organisational and time-keeping skills is required for a well-established company.SALARY: Competitive (depending on experience) + VanLOCATION: You will work on sites throughout the Central Belt of ScotlandCandidates will be required to visit the office in KilsythJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentJOB OVERVIEWDue to the company’s continued business growth, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Electrical Tester / Electrical Test Engineer who has an eye for detail and accuracy with great organisational and time-keeping skills.Working as the Electrical Tester / Electrical Test Engineer you will carry out the testing and completion of:

  • Electrical Test Certificates
  • Fire Alarm Certificates
  • Fan Certificates
  • Landlords (Closes) Certificates
  • Emergency Lighting
  • PAT Testing and EICR (which covers compounds and cabins)
All of the certificates are already available on Napit with the addresses already typed on, so it will just be a case of going through and adding all of your results/findings.As the Electrical Tester / Electrical Test Engineer you will ideally be in possession of the C&G 2391Inspection and testing certificate. However, this is preferred and not essential.As the Electrical Tester / Electrical Test Engineer the company provide you with the following:
  • The program they use is Napit Fastest
  • You will be supplied with a laptop, megger and airflow tester. (PAT Tester if required)
  • The company will also provide you with TRS books, all relevant stickers, batteries and cables that you require
  • Training on the system will also be given
