Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit an E-Learning Support Officer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £140-160/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will initially be remote based. Responsibilities:·Provide troubleshooting for services and support to end users for issues raised while using the technology enhanced learning, and Media tools· Provide support for the section by completing in-depth problem solving on incoming calls and referring them to the service team if necessaryEssential Skills & Experience:·Good verbal and written communication skills, possessing good common sense and clear and accurate documentation or written reports·A strong team player, capable of building effective relationships with colleagues·Attention to detail and efficiency in delivering work to time and quality, with clear guidance and supervision·Excellent problem solving skills - the ability to troubleshoot complex issues for a variety of services·Experience of advising customers and working to best meet the needs of a diverse user base and deliver customer satisfaction.·Strong and demonstrable customer focus with confidence and energy to support colleaguesDesirable Skills & Experience:·Understanding best-practice for service management, including knowledge of the incident and problem management process·Experience of supporting educational, and media online systems·Systems in use include:VLEs - Blackboard Learn and MoodleTurnitin - including GrademarkPebblePadTop HatCollaborateQuestionmark PerceptionWordPressMedia Management - Echo360 and Kaltura·Experience of managing wikis, blogs and mailing lists.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
