Job Description

If you are looking for a few months work, have a driving licence and pride yourself on having a professional and friendly manner then this is the role for you!Pertemps are delighted to teaming up with SQA and recruiting for Drivers to support the delivery of exam papers to be marked. This will involve being based at Shawfair, Dalkeith/Edinburgh, Midlothian and driving throughout the central belt - carand insurance provided by SQA.

  • £12.04 per hour
  • Start date - 25th April 2022 for around 3 months
  • Must be available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
Excellent rates of pay - overtime paid on all hours over standard week
  • £12.04 per hour for first 37 hours
  • £18.06 per hour for any hours over 37
  • £22.08 per hour for any hours over 37 and on a Sunday
Main Responsibilities
  • Moving and handling large quantities of examination materials
  • Transportation of confidential materials to and from events based in hotels in central belt
  • Set-up of events
  • Meet and greet those running/attending the event
  • Working in a fast paced service environment the successful candidates will take ownership for effectively solving customer queries, keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision
Experience and Knowledge
  • Full driving licence
  • Experience in customer service or driving desirable
  • Manage multiple tasks while prioritising, according to schedule
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team
