Job Description

Pertemps have a unique opportunity for experienced administrators to work on a High Profile Public Inquiry in Scotland on an ongoing assignment for 2 years.. As Officer of Document and Evidence Management Team working within the Inquiry team, you willlead on the collection and preservation of material from the Inquirys core participants and work with the Inquirys legal team in preparation for the Inquiry hearings. Applicants should have excellent administration skills with great attention to detail andability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Pay: £14.10 per hourLocation: Edinburgh Hybrid WorkingHours: 37hrs per weekAssignment: 23 months ongoingResponsibilities- Carry out research tasks, primarily based on the documentary evidence, in support of counsel and solicitors.- Undertaking the redaction of data before documents and witness statements can be released to Participants- Working closely and collaboratively with other members of the Inquiry team to ensure the smooth running of the Inquiry- Other administration tasks as and when requiredExperience Required- Working under pressure and to tight timelines- Ability to carry out tasks independently with minimum oversight, remaining calm under pressure- Handling sensitive information- Awareness of the need for discretion and to maintain confidentiality.- Excellent attention to detail- An analytical thinker with the ability to also think laterally, i.e. context and jigsaw identification Strong communication skills- Ability to take accurate notes and action points of complex meetings.- High level of proficiency in all Microsoft packages including WordPlease note a basic disclosure and security checks will be required prior to start.
