You will be working for the companys healthcare branch. The company is one of the biggest holders of the PIP contract in the UK.As a Disability Assessor you will be responsible for carrying out assessments for the PIP benefit (Personal Independence Payment). There are 2 different roles availableFront and Back Office.Back OfficeThis is the first stage of the processcarrying out paper-based reviews to gather medical evidence to support the claim and liaising with local GPs and other healthcare professionals.Front OfficeConducting in-depth telephone assessments with the claimant and writing up reports using the information gathered and your clinical knowledge.Essential RequirementsMinimum 1 year post qualification experience as one of the following: Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist.Active registration with either the NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on practiceA suitable workspace within your home to allow you to complete your roleBenefitsFull training course provided25 days annual leave (plus all bank holidays/available to buy and sell leave)Private Medical InsuranceHealth screeningNMC/HCPC fee reimbursementPension scheme including upto 10% employer contributionsContactIf you are interested in this role and would like to know more then please apply for this advert and include a copy of your CV.
