Are you an experienced Digital Electronics Design Engineer looking for your next challengeDo you want to work with an organisation that is developing medical devices which will transform the healthcare industryBe-IT is currently working with a ground-breaking medical technology and manufacturing company. This global organisation is looking to bring on a Digital Electronics Design Engineer as part of the hardware engineering team, the role will be responsible for driving the development of a core product from the lab-based prototype stage to manufacturing design transfer.The role is remote with some office travel to Stirling when it is safe to do so.Your key responsibilities are as follows: to be aware of project timelines and contribute to the electronics sections of the project plan; maintain existing CPLD and digital design architecture; implement new FPGA/CPLD designs using a mixture of existing and newly created code; provide innovative and robust design solutions to identified problem / high risk design areas; to be responsible for ensuring the design complies with regulatory standards including EN60601, EN61010, ISO13485 and ISO14971; and much more.You should have the following skills and experiences: be degree qualified in electronic engineering; have practical experience in digital electronics design using microcontrollers, CPLD/FPGA, Memory devices, discrete logic; practical deign experience with system on chip devices; practical design experience with FPGA/CPLD (Intel, Xilinx); practical Verilog/VHDL design experience; experience of FPGA/CPLD simulation, timing analysis and verification; the ability to translate requirements into design specifications; practical experience of design with SPI/Quad SPI, I2C, USB; digital fault finding and signal integrity analysis and finally practical experience with digital design tools (Quartus Prime, Modelsim).If you have experience of working in the medical industryand experience of programming languages such as C, C++, Python then that would be a bonus.Sounds like you and interested in learning moreApply now or call Alasdair Walker from Be-IT.
