Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Digital Content Manager for an initial 7 month contract on a rate of £300-£350/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will beremote based for the foreseeable future.Responsibilities:- Responsibility for setting the vision and driving the strategy of the organisations channels, including setting objectives for performance, monitoring, incorporating insight and documenting KPIs- Strategic content planning (proactive and reactive), across all channels including the organisations website, digital media library and suite of social media channel, and in line with overarching objectives at a brand level and across individual pillars.- Ongoing communication and collaboration with key stakeholders from across the organisation and its partners will be key to ensuring there is strategic alignment between content marketing plans and strategic outcomes internationally.- Line management responsibilities for digital and content teams.Essential Skills:- Proven digital marketing experience in a communications or marketing leadership role that includes experience in setting and leading digital marketing at a strategic level, social media and content planning and community management.- Experience working on large scale marketing projects and/or campaigns involving a range of different partners, agencies and stakeholders.- Experience in setting objectives and performance in digital evaluation with the ability to translate data into actionable audience-driven insight- Technologically capable with working knowledge of analytics platforms, SEO, content management systems (CMS), CRM and project management platforms/tools - Experienced digital marketing professional, with evidenced expertise in content marketing, online display advertising, media buying, social media and influencer marketing and online content management- Knowledge of customer journey design - Experience of managing complex marketing programmes across channels within a rapidly changing environment- In-depth analytical understanding with the ability to translate data into actionable insight- People management experience with the ability to coach and develop junior team members, along with the ability to manage third-parties and suppliers to deliver against clearly defined objectives- Understanding of financial managements systems, with the ability to deliver on time and within budget- Working knowledge of project management principles and platforms/tools- Adaptable and able to deliver on multiple projects within a collaborative environmentDesirable Skills:- A relevant professional qualification.
