If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.Royal Hospital for Children & Young People, EdinburghBand 3 Dietetic Support Worker (Full Time)This is an exciting opportunity to join our team following our recent move to the new Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Edinburgh.The successful applicant will undertake clinical support and administrative duties for the paediatric dietitians to facilitate the delivery of a comprehensive, high quality and effective multidisciplinary service to children and families across Lothian and beyond.In addition, the post will support the special feeds unit (SFU) at RHCYP which supports patients 365 days per year. Duties will include the preparation and delivery of specialist infant formulas to inpatients. There is an expectation this post would support the SFU on selected weekends and bank holidays.The post holder will have an SVQ Level 3 or HNC in health related subject plus experience of working within health and/or social care. Good IT skills including word processing and data inputting using Excel is essential.
