Job Description

Engineer (AWS) - Fully Remote/Edinburgh Hybrid - to 75K plus benefitsLoriens client, the producer of an upscaling streaming platform which gives users across the globe the chance to watch and follow the content they like, free of unnecessary subscriptions and long term agreements, are expanding their team and hiring a DevOpsEngineer with skills across AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes.As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working alongside the wider development team to assist in the delivery of key features on their streaming platform, whilst working on infrastructure related tasks relating to their technical roadmap.What your day might look like:

  • Supporting the wider team by producing infrastructure for new services and features
  • Ensuring the platform runs smoothly, maintaining uptime, high security, and responsiveness
  • Managing and supporting infrastructure/clusters/configuration/automated processes using a variety of technologies (e.g. AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)
What youll bring to the table:The ideal candidate will possess some or all the following:
  • Strong skills across AWS (incl. S3, RDS and Lambda etc.), Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Track record of working with logging and monitoring solutions (ideally with Prometheus/Grafana)
  • Configuration management expertise and ability to quickly implement development/testing environments
  • Ability to maintain Kubernetes clusters, as well as design automated processes for their deployment
