Job Description

AWS Devops Engineer Edinburgh & RemoteUp to £65K + BenefitsAn exciting new opportunity has opened up with a world leading cloud software provider. Based in Edinburgh you will join an award-winning team as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, working flexibly and remotely to start with. The role comes with excellent training investment and a range of superb benefits.Required skills and experience:

  • Proven experience of implementing and maintaining stable and secure environments for SaaS / web application platforms on Cloud using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Expert knowledge of Ansible, Git, Linux, Terraform.
  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm.
  • AWS experience with EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, EFS, Route53, VPC, Lambda Serverless.
  • Data security, encryption, standards and best practice. GDPR and ISO 27001 compliance.
  • Networking, Firewalls and VPN configuration.
  • Ability to configure and manage monitoring tools, such as Nagios, Cloudwatch etc.
  • Log management, rotation, scripting, analysis.
  • Previous experience working in Lean/Agile Open Source software development teams.
  • Good understanding of agile development processes, including CI, Git, GitLab, code quality and standards, QA and test automation.
