DEVELOPMENT OFFICERPermanentFlexible location - any SRUC campus considered£28,845 - £35,497 per annum (under review) Ref: CFPS/COM/021/21SRUC is in the midst of a profound transformation into a modern, enterprise university, rooted in Scotlands rural communities, underpinning the countrys land-based economy, and responding to the needs of global agriculture and food production systems.We have strong foundations upon which to build a positive and meaningful Philanthropy programme, that will unlock income and develop relationships and connections to support our ambitions. As part of this growth, we are seeking a new Development Officerfor the Advancement team.SRUCs Philanthropy programme is in its infancy and as such an individual with both skills and experience plus a desire for taking on a challenge would make an ideal candidate. The role is expected to evolve along with the Philanthropy programme, and theDevelopment Officer will help build the programme from the ground up. Early stages of the programme will involve setting up systems and procedures, identifying priority areas of giving, building cases for support and creating a pool of prospective donors.The Development Officer will be key in creation of plans for, and management of, all stages of the fundraising lifecycle: research, cultivation, solicitation and stewarding. They will be instrumental in deepening new donors understanding and connectionto SRUC, while assisting the Advancement Manager in moving them through the fundraising cycle.Applicants should be educated to Degree level or be able to demonstrate relevant life experience and skills.
