Position - Deputy Home Care Manager - Domiciliary CareEmployment type - 12- 18 months contract with review to go permanentLocation - Edinburgh, ScotlandSalary - £25,350.00-£26,600.00 plus £1,600.00 On Call allowanceHours - 37.5 per week. Monday to FridayBenefits:

This is a great time to join them make the positionyour own.About the role - As a Deputy Home Care Manager, you will share the responsibility to focus on continuously improving current processes and compliance in line with Care Inspectorate with the Branch Manager. Induct and train new staff, assistwith recruitment such as with interviews and vetting. Carry out staff appraisals, absence monitoring, mentoring and coaching staff, staff disciplinaries and grievances.These duties are designed to contribute to taking the service to the next level and achievingexcellence. On-call requirements are one evening a week and one weekend in 4.Experience and qualifications:
  • Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare
  • Ideally QCF / SVQ Levels 4 in Social Services and Healthcare or willing to work towards
  • Previous leadership experience within home care or residential setting.
  • Good knowledge of the National Care Standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst multi tasking
  • IT literate
