Job Description

Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service partner with Tesco Bank to supportcontingent recruitment hiring.On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Decision Support Manager - Costs to work in their Finance team based in Edinburgh - two days a week from office for an initial contract length of 6 months.Tesco Bank prides itself on their range of simple and convenient retail banking and insurance products designed specifically to meet the needs of Tesco customers. They believe that every little help makes a big difference, and by putting the customer firstand rewarding their loyalty, they are offering something they believe every bank should.Key responsibilities:

  • Collate and analyse cost data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently.
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment to cost insightand efficiency.
  • Provide financial modelling input into business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business.
  • Evaluate costs and identify variances or opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Support the business define plans to deliver effective services to the value streams whilst focusing on an appropriate cost footprint.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Experience of working on programmes with a cost reduction focus.
  • Experience of the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in cost insight and analysis, Data control, Data collection and analysis, Reporting and development, Budgeting & Forecasting, financial modelling.
