Job Description

DBA - SQL - Edinburgh - Inside IR35An exciting opportunity for an experienced Database Administrator to work as part of a small team which is responsible for all aspects of IT Support Services for the centrally managed databases used by the organisation. You will be responsible for:

  • Installation & configuration of SQL Server (2014-2019)
  • Installation & deployment of databases
  • Creation & maintenance of backup & recovery plans
Essential skills:
  • In-depth of experience and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server mainstream editions from versions 2014 onwards
  • Experience in ETL and MFT tooling (SSIS, IPSwitch preferred)
  • Experience of managing large scale databases ensuring they are robust, resilient and performance
  • Experience of automation and database service improvement
  • Experience of managing data services in Azure including SQL Server, Data Factory preferred
  • Experience in the design and application of data security preferred
