Job Description

Data Solutions Architect Location: Remote primarily (occasional travel may be required) Salary: Circa £65k Note: Candidates MUST live in and have the right to work in the UK.The role: Our client are on the hunt for a Data Solutions Architect who will perform architecture and device activities in support of different projects and product teams. You will work closely with business analysts, data analysts business SMEs and suppliers to determinedata requirements, then design the end-to-end data architecture.What you will do:

  • Be responsible for the Data Solutions Architecture
  • Defining the data standards
  • Support the Principal Architect on defining data architecture roadmaps
  • Ensure architecture standards, policies and design and design governance approaches and processes are understood and adhered to.
  • Provide input to project and Programme cost estimation.
  • Produce the Solution Architecture and Data Specific artefacts.
  • Undertake Design Governance using data standards against High Level Designs, Interface, Ingestion designs and Logical and Physical Data Models.
  • Design the ETL/ELT architecture and data ingestion patterns.
What you need to know and show:
  • Experience as a Data Solutions Architect (broad range of data ingestion patterns), data modelling and analytical design within retail banking.
  • Strong relationship management.
  • Demonstrable experience in defining Data Architecture standards, principles, solution design and implementation concerns.
  • Awareness of all architecture domains
  • Experience of Architectural Frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) is preferable.
