Job Description

Are you passionate about DataDo you have strong analysis skillsWould you like to join a really interesting company and be part of a growing teamYou will focus on the development and maintenance of their Data Warehouse ensuring good quality data integration routines with all source data.Working within the Data and Insights team to capture requirements for the development of the data warehouse, then design and implement changes to meet these requirements.Your responsibilities will include:

  • To design, develop and maintain the data integration from multiple business systems.
  • Work with the Data and Insights team to deliver the data strategy
  • Write well-structured code.
  • Design smart ways of storing and displaying complex data.
  • Support automated testing to check quality.
  • Data Application Support for ICAS maintained systems.
Your skills should include:
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • The ability to communicate complicated technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Can represent our data needs to internal stakeholders.
  • Is comfortable working with external vendors and consultancy companies.
  • Ability to understand and quickly understand technical data concepts.
  • Experience with SQL and strong Excel skills
  • Experience of working with varied data sets and data wrangling
  • Demonstrable experience in a role which regularly requires extensive data manipulation (extraction, summarisation, correction, pivoting, combining, filtering or similar)
Beneficial Technical Skills
  • Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
  • Experience in writing Stores Procedures / Indexes / Views.
  • Experience of designing technical solutions (systems or data architecture).
