Job Description

Data Engineer (Inside IR35 - Umbrella Working)Edinburgh/London/Birmingham( Will be remote initially)3-6 months (to start with) The Day JobTo be responsible and take ownership for specific work streams (and their outcomes) as part of a consulting team or for the overall management of small projects and their deliverables. To identify and develop consulting opportunities and new projects.Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in Informatica IDQ would be beneficial as that is what they currently use for Data Quality profiling. Tableau visualisation skills are also important.
  • Manage the successful delivery of a work-stream or small consulting project in order to achieve revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Combine fresh thinking and insight to identify additional consulting opportunities and shape innovative business propositions for new and existing clients
  • Work with clients to capture and shape consulting opportunities, helping them re-imagine the future and stay ahead of the curve
  • Run and support bid opportunities for small-scale projects that demonstrate distinctive and sustainable consulting business and secure additional revenue and/or new clients
  • Be an advocate of Consulting through participation in industry forums, events and social media
  • Live the consulting-led culture by embracing innovative, highly disruptive technologies that support new ways of working in a digital world
  • Contribute to the wider Consulting Community through sharing personal knowledge and experience
  • Essential Skills
  • Degree level education or equivalent, typically in Business, Information Technology or Engineering (includes appropriate apprenticeships)
  • Good client-facing consulting experience in a recognised consulting business
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A real team player with a collaborative working style
