Job Description

Data Analyst£28-38,000EdinburghSummaryFPSG are currently recruiting for an exciting Global FinTech who are setting up a new centre of excellence in Edinburgh. One of their key team members will be a dedicated Data Analyst, who will take ownership for the analysis, manipulation, visualisation and design of the APIs on their OpenBanking solutions. You will be aligned with one of the companys agile product and development teams, working together with Product Owners and Software Developers to realise the product roadmap as well as provide product support and innovative solutions.The post is Covid remote at present, however proximity to the Edinburgh office is critical as being in the office 1 or 2 days a week will be a future requirement to assist collaboration, coaching, training and team building initiatives.As a Data Analyst your responsibilities will include:

  • Critical mapping of as-is and to-be API solutions
  • Ownership of API - Gateways
  • Management and Development of Data Solutions
  • Coordination of Data collection systems
  • Influencing Data Analytics solutions
  • Delivering innovative solutions across the Data arena
  • Continually enhancing and building a deep knowledge of the product suite
  • Selecting, using and improving a broad modern technology stack.
    • To be successful in the Data Analyst, your experience will include: A minimum of 2 years in a professional data analysis role, where you have demonstrated the ability to take ownership of the Data API life cycle of analysis and mapping, to include exposure to API GatewaysThroughout your career you will be able to demonstrate successful projects:
  • Mapping Data APIs
  • Exposure to API Gateways
  • Web API
  • Understanding of PSD2 and OpenBanking
  • Working with Data Visualisation tools
  • Extensive Excel and VBA
  • Exposure to Oracle and SQL
  • Experience of contributing to an agile development environment
