Data Analyst for a creative digital agency in Edinburgh.Right now the data analysis is done on a fairly ad-hoc basis by the Data Engineers and Software Developers, but the company are keen to build out the data function and offer both reactive and proactive services, doing a deep dive into the data (and hopefullydoing the same for their own organisation too, not just clients!).As the sole Data Analyst you will have lots of autonomy and influence over how to do this, but at the same time you will be hugely supported by the Head of Product and the rest of the team with room for lots of growth and learning. The plan is to continueto develop this data function, so you could be leading a team within 12 months (if thats your thing!).Day-to-day you will be extracting, transforming and analysing data from multiple sources as well as ensuring that best practices are followed. Youll be building out dashboards and reports and making suggestions for improvements, particularly across clientsGoogle Analytics set-ups.Youll have most of the following skills/experience:** Working in a web-based environment** SQL (essential) and relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle etc.)** Python** Digital analytics tools such as BigQuery, Google Analytics, Google Data StudioThe company have Edinburgh offices in the Leith area of the city and are ideally looking for someone in the office 1-2 days a week in the office depending on your location. The salary on offer is up to £40,000 and includes a benefits package that includes funding for certifications, private medical, enhanced parental leave and share options! This is a close-knit team who regularly get together (they genuinely like each others company) and a role where you can have huge influence whilst learning a lot pretty quickly! If this would be of interest, please do apply and/or reach out to Chantal Barnard at Cathcart Technology.
