Job Description

Customer Care ManagerOverview:Our client is an established and fast-growing Destination Management company with offices in the UK and Ireland. They are looking for a Customer Care Manager for the North America and Long-Haul Markets. This role is located their Edinburgh office, with anopportunity to work hybrid.Benefits and pay range:

  • £dependent on experience. Permanent, Full Time Position.
  • Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Hybrid working option, excellent company benefits
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Management of the customer care function of the North American markets and direct responsibility of key specific accounts
  • Management and mentoring of all staff and interns assigned to the area. This includes regular meetings, point of escalation, staff rostering, annual leave management and workload management
  • Using Tourplan to generate client and supplier communications and proposals. Monitoring responses to clients to ensure timely and professional follow up
  • Meeting clients as appropriate
  • Providing operational support as needed, including ensuring the departments 24-hour emergency number is in operation
Requirements and Qualifications:Essential:
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
  • GoodknowledgeoftheUKtourism industry and North American inbound market
  • Excellentorganisationalskillswithgoodattentiontodetail
  • Excellentcustomercareandcommunicationskills
  • Teamplayerabletoworkinabusy environment
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
Desirable:
  • Relevant degree qualification in Languages, Business or Tourism
