£21k per annumOur client are seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join our Finance team in our Edinburgh office. The position is on a full-time permanent basis, core hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 33.75 hours per week. Initially full-time office based, however, in the long term the Firm supports a hybrid working approach through our Smarter Working policy. ResponsibilitiesThis role assists the Credit Control Manager with the smooth day to day running of the credit control function.Core duties are:* To provide assistance to the Credit Control Manager and Client Cash team in the preparation of accounting entries relating to fee payment and cash allocation.* To provide assistance to the Credit Control Manager in the preparation of faxes, reminder letters and memos to Partners regarding the uplift of monies from the Client Ledger to enable fees to be settled.* To provide assistance in ensuring the client ledger within accounting system is properly maintained at all times.* Obtaining information from electronic files held within our iManage document management system and copy information as required.* To carry out file reviews from such electronic records regarding drafting reminder letters.* To carry out other finance related tasks as directed by the Partnership Accountant, Deputy Partnership Accountant and Credit Control Manager.* Other general office duties as directed including regular filing.Skills/Qualifications Previous Credit Control experience would be advantageous and administrative experience is required. You should be flexible, self-motivated, highly competent, and able to work on your own initiative. You will have the ability to prioritise workload and have the ability to work to deadlines.
