Job Description

Interested in joining a fast paced and ambitious creative team Fancy the idea of working across a number of household brands Weve partnered with a challenger Creative & Research agency who arent afraid to deliver brave creative or disrupt the usual marketing ideas. Their creative team is growing and were on the hunt to find a conceptual Creative Director to join the Edinburghbased team. Hybrid working is in full-force, and we envisage you being in the agency 3 days a week. Like any Creative Director role, your responsibility will be to ensure the ideation, creation and delivery of campaigns that help achieve their clients marketing objectives. However, you will have a great deal of autonomy to self-determine what tactics willbest serve those but always, idea first and channel second. Youll be an exceptional conceptual thinker who knows how to bring a story to life across all channels including digital, packaging, advertising, innovation and experiential and youll be more thancomfortable pushing the boundaries of creative excellence while keeping an eye on delivering required results. Youll know how to partner with cross-disciplinary teams including planning and account handling and youll work closely to mentor and inspire yourown creative team. Heres what youll need:

  • At least 5 years in a similar role. Perhaps youre currently a midweight creative looking to take the next step in your career, thats cool with us. Maybe youre a type fanatic or perhaps you have a portfolio packed full witty and engaging short form copyEither way, we want to know what makes you tick.
  • Proven creative direction and concept development experience across brand and integrated communications - innovation would be a bonus
  • An astute and ambitious creative thinker, who strives for bold ideas and innovative executions that rise to clients challenges and push their brands
  • No ego: open to feedback, edits and shifts in creative direction
  • A skilled collaborator and confident presenter who isnt afraid to challenge if it leads to greater outputs
  • A commercial operator who can help efficiently run client projects within time, budget and resource parameters
  • A keen networker, who leans into the industry and confidently builds their profile, whilst helping us build our agency proposition.
