Our client is a leading Groundworks Contractor specializing in the residential sector. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects, they are committed to shaping communities and creating exceptional living spaces. They are now seekingan experienced Civils Contracts Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in their continued success.As a Civils Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering contracts within their residential construction projects across the East and Central Scotland. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors,and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of civils works on time and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of construction project management, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.Key Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee all aspects of civil engineering contracts within residential construction projects.• Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and budgetary standards.• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals.• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage the procurement process.• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.• Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.• Lead a team of site engineers and ensure they are fully equipped to meet project objectives.• Resolve project-related issues, changes, and disputes in a timely and effective manner.• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).• Proven experience in civil engineering project management within the residential sector.• Familiarity with UK construction regulations and standards.• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.• A valid UK driving license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.What They Offer:• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.• Career development opportunities within a growing company.• A supportive and collaborative working environment.• Company benefits package, including pension and health coverage.For more information please contact Scott Reilly at C&P Recruitment or for immediate consideration please apply now.C&P Recruitment Ltd is a recruitment business which provides work-finding services to its clients and work-seekers.
