You will take the lead to actively promote and demonstrate the Groupscommitment to effective health and safety, for staff, residents and contractors.You will continually identify innovative and safe working practices, as well as following and implementing budgetary controls. Acting as the line manager for an operational workforce of internal and external contractors monitoring and managing work volumesand ensuring the high level service delivery.You will build effective relationships with both internal staff, customers and contractors through effective communication and engagement. As our Contract Manager you will ensure that all work carried out adhered to our SPIRIT values in line with the strategyand objectives set by the Head of Operations, Group Directors and Board.This role is based in the Edinburgh region allowing you tocollaboratewiththe wider team.We are trialling hybrid working to provide a good work/life balance, so youwillbe able to splityourtime between home and the Edinburgh office.For more information please download our job profile available on our website.More about youWe are looking for a candidate who can bring a number of different management skills to the team, someone who will lead by example hit the ground running and get stuck in. You will be working within a small existing team managing an existing settledportfolio. Previous experience in a similar position is essential, and experience of managing a direct and sub contracted delivery service in a multi-site horticultural /soft services environment is likely to be key to your success.For this role, you will need a full valid driving licence and would be beneficial to have a trailer licence (B+E) or have passed your driving test prior to 1997 and have this entitlement.
