Job Description

The Role: Content Marketing ManagerWorking with the channel teams, the role of the Content Marketing Manager is to initiate and deliver a range of engaging content, across the marketing mix, which supports audience needs, promotes propositional developments and meets business objectives. Bringing the adviser services positioning to life across channels, building audiences and engagement through compelling content and high impact storytelling. Developing the editorial agenda to deliver new tailored content, managing existing web collateral as well as maintaining and developing existing content, ensuring everything is up to date and compliant whilst telling our story in a distinctive and compellingway. Setting targets and reporting on metrics. The ideal candidate would have experience in best practice for B2B content creation and delivery of end results in line with business objectives and targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop content plan aligned to key marketing objectives
  • Initiate content for and coordinate production of regular Newsletter publications
  • Devise content plan to support external engagement plan for key spokespeople/SMEs
  • Oversee content quality for websites
  • Working closely with key stakeholders, manage and develop content for key pages across the web estate
  • Working closely with key stakeholders, manage and develop content for our social media channels
  • Support the Investment Marketing team with production of regular investment reports for our audiences
  • Ensure all in line with brand positioning, TOV, design guidelines and business strategy
Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • B2B experience, ideally in financial services
  • Relevant, proven high quality copywriting skills and editing experience across all media
  • Proven experience of being able to translate complex business requirements and technical information into straightforward customer-led language and deliver it in multiple formats
  • Excellent understanding of content and design approaches including message hierarchy, tone of voice, content flow and working to brand guidelines, being creatively critical with exceptional attention to detail both on and offline
  • Hands on experience with SEO copywriting for websites
  • Knowledge and experience of Aprimo system, or other marketing digital asset management systems, would be beneficial
  • Capable of working independently, generating creative ideas, taking initiative to contribute effectively
  • A growth mindset, adaptable and resilient in what can be a fast changing and deadline driven environment
