Consultant in Paediatric and Perinatal Pathology Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh NHS LothianConsultant Paediatric and Perinatal Pathologist,Lothian Pathology Service, Royal Infirmary of EdinburghReference CG 2044Applications are welcome for the above Permanent full time (40hours per week) post based at the Royal Infirmary of EdinburghHistopathology services across Lothian are organised as an integrated service with Consultant Pathologists being members of one or more teams working at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Western General Hospital. This a replacement post created following retirement. NHS Lothian pathology and the University of Edinburgh collaborate on a portfolio of research activities, and a range of opportunities would be available to the successful applicant. The potential to take a leading role in service delivery would be available to a suitably experienced candidate. A contribution to the wider Lothian Service is also expected, depending on the interests of the appointee and the requirements of the service.
