Job Description

An innovative Construction Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and personable Construction Project Manager to join their team in Edinburgh.This role offers a unique opportunity to provide top-tier project management services across a broad spectrum of sectors, including education, hospitality, hotels, residential, commercial, urban regeneration, sports, healthcare, and life sciences, amongothers.The Construction Project Manager RoleThe successful Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality service is maintained throughout all phases. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of sectors,providing extensive exposure and professional growth.Key Requirements

  • Developing project plans and agreeing on any changes or enhancements with stakeholders.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to clearly define project requirements.
  • Managing risks and ensuring project administration is handled efficiently.
  • Overseeing all aspects of project planning, from development to execution.
The Construction Project Manager
  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, or a related field.
  • MRICS, CIOB, or APM qualification, or the intention to become qualified.
  • Experience in managing a variety of construction projects within a consultancy environment.
  • Exceptional communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Confidence in mentoring junior team members.
  • The ability to make decisive decisions and remain calm under pressure.
