Job Description

Construction Planner£450 per day Umbrella3 Month ContractEdinburghHybridAdvantage Resourcing are working with a leading construction company who are on the look out for a construction planner on a 3-month contract to work on a A-Listed building project in Edinburgh.About the role:Working closely with the Project Management team to support and provide updates on the progress of the project, whilst also ensuring the project is within planning standard guidelines. You will be required to be on site 2 days a week.What you will be doing:

  • Responsible at tender stage to the Planning Lead or Bid Manager for the range of activities involved in the project planning life cycle, which includes:
  • Ensuring that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning standards, procedures and guidance.
  • Identifying planning scope, major constraints and contract requirements
  • Provide support, as required to the BIM Co-ordinators to meet the project requirements or tender submission deliverables
What we are looking for in you:
  • Operational experience (ie site engineer/site agent) together with previous significant experience of planning services in small to medium sized projects within the construction and engineering industry
  • Proficiency in the use of planning techniques and the required planning tool sets - Asta PowerProject
  • An understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications.
  • An understanding of various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring
