Job Description

The opportunity:Global Talent 2020s large European client, based in their beautiful new offices in Edinburgh are looking for a full-time Communications and Social Media professional to join their growing organisation, and become their in-house dedicated social media resourceguru.Our client is well established, ethical, and growing company that specialises in the Care sector. The role is new and will require the person to hit the ground running from the outset, with creativity and growing the businesses social media engagement withboth internal, and external stakeholders.The role:Global Talent 2020s client is looking for a creative, talented, self-sufficient individual, someone with their finger on the pulse with social media channel/platform management, online trends, that can devise, then post, approved campaigns in concert withsenior managers within the business, to promote brand awareness and engagement.The person will work primarily on their own and will be allowed in future to work a hybrid working model, after a satisfactory probationary period. The role will also encompass liaison between other areas of the business, and also managing their contenton those areas behalf, and providing targeted engagement through social channels, as well as media and PR management duties.Experience essential in:

  • Managing websites.
  • Creating and managing social media campaigns to grow brand awareness.
  • Managing the social media accounts - with daily posts, engagement with others in the online community, internal and external stakeholders, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Creating monthly reports, which analyse insights and analyticss to help evolve the digital strategy.
  • Researching and creating engaging content for website and social media (with an evolving plan).
  • Creating and implementing an SEO strategy to drive fresh and relevant traffic to the website.
  • IT literate, with strong graphic design abilities, utilising Spout and Canva Pro, or similar.
  • PR and Press experience.
The person: Global Talent 2020s client is looking for a trustworthy, established, candidate that is highly adaptive, flexible, creative, and passionate about what they do. As well as being respectful of our clients brand integrity. You must ideally possess an outgoingengaging personality, and an exacting eye for details.Our client seeks an excellent communicator, someone comfortable presenting ideas, possess excellent listening/ and needs assessment skills, whilst being comfortable in client facing situations. The right candidate also needs to except critiques, and alsobe open to others input besides their own, because they will be working collaboratively at times for the businesss interests.The benefits: This a potential hybrid working role.A full handover will be given of all current live channels and materials to the successful applicant.As the business grows, there is the envisaged prospect that this role will become more varied in future for the right person.An excellent base salary, company laptop, company mobile, travel expenses for mileage are all on offer.
