Job Description

Do you want to join the highly anticipated opening of Scotland’s first ever exclusive Le Petit Beefbar restaurant We are looking for Commis Chefs to join this adventure and experience the excitement…This highly exclusive restaurant born in Monte Carlo in 2005 is the epitome of creativity and luxury service, by taking on international and local dishes with a focus on quality ingredients. Riccardo Giraudi (the Beefboy as some might call him) has createdBeefbar to break tradition and introduce a modern take on incredibly well-thought out but simple dishes divided into 3 section – sexy street food, great meat cuts and iconic dishes. InterContinental Edinburgh The George is home to the first and only Beefbarin Scotland and we are proud to be presenting Edinburgh with this leading new concept…We are looking for Commis Chefs who can work 4 shifts per week (40 hours). In addition to your hourly rate, you will be paid for any overtime and service charge will be paid on a monthly basis through our Tronc scheme.Our Commis Chef’s form a central role to the kitchen operations, you will be assisting our Chef De Parties and wider Kitchen team provide excellent culinary experiences for our guests, prepping food for service and preparing essential elementsof our dishes.As a Commis Chef at the iconic Le Petit Beefbar, you will receive:

  • £12.10 per hour (£25,168.00 per annum), plus paid overtime and monthly service charge!
  • 28 days holiday each year, including bank holidays, this increases up to a maximum of 33 days(pro rata)

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Passion for providing excellent culinary experiences and previous experience in a Kitchen as a Chef or Apprentice Chef
