Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for all cleaning in and around residences or office buildings. Cleans floors and rooms. Including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor.
  • Carry out property inspections
  • Working with compliance and following legalities
  • Responsible for managing keys for the properties
  • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
  • Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
  • Attending to all HMO properties every Monday
  • Recording gas and electricity meter readings
  • signing safety certificates
  • Ensuring all is in order i.e. check for fluff in drier / check all fire escapes / passages clear
  • Changing bed sheets in HMOs
  • Ensuring we always have 1 full change of bedsheets ready to go at any one time i.e. (mattress protector/bed sheets/bottom sheet/duvet/pillows/towel).
  • Transports dirty linens to correct area to be cleaned and restocks areas with clean linens
  • HMO’s annual certification requirements
  • Delivering a first-class service to all tenants
  • Liaising with and building up, key relationships with contractors and suppliers
  • Dealing with all maintenance related queries via telephone or e-mail
  • Organise maintenance to be executed
  • Dealing with gas safety certification
  • Assisting in the preparation and cleaning of properties
  • Arrange a carry out property viewings
  • Ordering and delivering (if required) of materials for contractors
  • Carry out property inventories
  • Learning from the team and building up your knowledge
  • Update data regarding internet and utilities
