Job Description

Immediate requirement for an experienced cleaner for my client in the Turnhouse area of Edinburgh. This is a long-term temporary contract for the right person.Role is based on a building site and you will be responsible for cleaning/sanitising of offices, canteen, toilets, communal areas.40 Hours Per WeekMonday to FridayKey Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of service to the site and maintain cleanliness in all areas, canteen, offices, toilets.
  • Ensure all common areas are professionally cleaned, well presented and maintained.
  • Daily tasks will include cleaning, sanitising, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and vacuuming of communal areas, toilets, offices and canteen.
  • If required, disposal of rubbish in the designated rubbish collection area.
  • Ensure that all health and safety risks are identified and report any accidents, trips, spills, hazards or near misses as per the site procedures.
Personal Specification
  • Previous experience in cleaning
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Use own initiative
  • Must be able to provide 2 references
As a cleaner, you will help in carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks and provide a high standard of service.
