Job Description

Change ManagerOur client is looking for highly skilled Change Manager to join their Edinburgh team for a 6 months initial contract.Key Responsibilities

  • Support or potentially lead the initial scoping of the project to ensure business case, change project objectives, deliverables and success measures are appropriately defined.
  • Input and produce high quality project documentation, including plans, actions, decisions, risks, issues and incidents in line with the project objectives to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify and actively manage stakeholders throughout the project to ensure project sponsor, steering group and other stakeholders are kept informed of project progress with regards to change management.
  • Work within defined project governance framework to ensure risks and issues associated with the project are appropriately recorded and monitored.
  • Develop change management methodologies, processes and tools and ensure they are used within own area for scope of change management project. Share best practice with colleagues and others as necessary.
  • Lead and support smaller continuous improvement activities to ensure delivery of best value change.
  • Deal with external clients/customers/external associations within the framework of the project.
  • May be requested to sit on steering committees/working groups to represent Customer Operations.
  • Adapting own style and approach in order to influence and to ensure effective relationships maintained and developed whilst being a champion of change and challenging the status quo at all levels.
  • Building strong relationships with project team members and other stakeholders when typically there is no direct line management responsibility.
  • Working with tight timescales, challenging resource, budgets and conflicting requirements and opinions
