Job Description

Pertemps Scotland are delighted to be recruiting for a Change and Delivery Officer for our public sector client based in the East of Edinburgh.Location: Edinburgh East - HybridHours of Work: 36 hours per week Monday to FridayRate of Pay: £15.36 per hourDuration: 3 months with possible extension for an initial 3 monthsImmediate startThe successful candidate will assist the Senior Change and Delivery Officers in the delivery of Change activities across the following areas

  • Change Strategy
  • Integrated Change
  • Data, Performance and Business Planning
  • Delivery Unit
You will take a supporting role within specific areas of work/projects, in line with the client, and its partners, strategic direction, outcomes and priorities as specified by the Senior Change and Delivery Officer.Duties to include:
  • Overseeing project progress and assisting to help identify and mitigate risks throughout project lifecycle.
  • Coordinating project activities and supporting project team members in the delivery of business objectives.
  • Updating and maintaining project records and documentation.
  • Prioritising/scheduling tasks and reporting on progress.
  • Support a range of projects ensuring the delivery of data and information to help drive decision making
  • Coordinate/prepare relevant reports, plans, briefings, presentations and other documentation for senior stakeholders, elected members and customers as required
Key skills required:
  • Microsoft Excel - Power Query, Pivot table, data visualisation, macros, formulas
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Time management and ability to work to own initiative.
  • Ability to gather and present complex information to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Business Planning, Performance, Data Management and Business Change (programme/project/process/change) processes.
  • Strong analytical skills
