A business that has beendescribed as home by existing employees, we drive a culture that is founded on positive change and development.The OpportunityWe have an exciting new permanent position available for a CASS Controls and Oversight Manager!Our Finance Operations function is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions within our clients organisation. The primary goal of this function is to process payments, receipts and distributions as well asidentify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records. This is important for maintaining the reliability of financial information, facilitating proper financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.This role is within the high-profile CASS Controls and Oversight Team which is responsible for Incident Management, Training, Procedures, Reporting, Breach Oversight and Prevention, Audit Liaison, Change Liaison and maximising the protection of client moneythrough the oversight of our CASS responsibilities.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the production of effective and meaningful Management Information (MI) for the Mutual Funds Finance Operations Department
  • Lead the CASS and Finance-element for any incidents, liaise with the wider teams in identifying the root cause and delivering resolutions, act as an escalation point for issues and complex queries
  • Deputise for the Finance Manager Mutual Funds as and when required
  • Own the relationship and delivery of all activities relating to both Internal and External Audits ensuring smooth audits/reviews and the timely provision of information and closing down of any actions
You should apply if you Have:
  • Experience working within financial services and to FCA Guidelines
  • Outstanding organisational skills, ability to plan workloads and delegate tasks
  • Strong knowledge of CASS
  • Experience of investment risk or operational control
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate at senior levels
