Job Description

Edinburgh7-month contractImmediate startCompetitive SalaryMeraki Talent is working alongside one of the UKs leading independent providers of Wealth Management to appoint a Cash Processing Administrator to a 7-month contract.This role sits within the Operations Department. This department is responsible for processes and with client and product static data, asset servicing, settlements, client reporting, portfolio transfers, fees processing, financial planning administration, operationaltax, and reconciliations. As a Cash Processing Administrator, you will be required to work Monday-Friday 0900-1700. It is office based so you must have the ability to commute into the office.Responsibilities include:

  • Daily processing of multi-currency payments and receipts
  • Cash Management across our client money Bank Accounts
  • Reconciliation of Cash positions
  • ISA Subscriptions and Transfers
  • Production of the daily Internal Client Money Calculations
  • Adherence to regulatory timescales and controls in executing the above
To be suitable for this role you must have experience in:
  • Preparation and processing of client payments / receipts
  • Awareness of reconciliation principles
  • Knowledge and awareness of banking platforms (or similar)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • a similar Financial Sector regulated environment
To succeed in this role, you must be:
  • Adaptable to change
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate professionally with all relevant stakeholders - both written and orally
  • Analytical with numerical problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of the Financial Services sector is desirable
