Job Description

The OpportunityWe have an exciting new permanent position available for a Cash Management and Distributions Technician!Our Finance Operations function is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions within our clients organisation. The primary goal of this function is to process payments, receipts and distributions as well asidentify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records. This is important for maintaining the reliability of financial information, facilitating proper financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.You will play a key role within the Cash Management & Distributions Team, which is responsible for processing all money in and money out transactions, as well as any dividend distributions to a high standard and within agreed SLAs ensuring that all clientmoney is treated appropriately in accordance with the FCAs CASS handbook and minimising any regulatory breaches.Key Responsibilities

  • Record all cheques on the appropriate core system (BaNCS or RUFUS), update the safe log and ensure cheques are properly safeguarded until they reach the bank in accordance with CASS 7.
  • Process all outgoing manual payments (CHAPS & Foreign Transfers) to our longstanding customers with accuracy ensuring appropriate sign-off has been obtained. Ensure compliance with the CASS regulations.
  • Provide payment or receipt-related reports and information to customers/LBG within agreed timescales.
  • Prepare and input manual journals where required.
  • Perform any adhoc administrative tasks to a high standard, within agreed timescales.
You should apply if you have:
  • Strong Communication skills and experience dealing with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience with reconciliations
  • Experience working within financial services and to FCA Guidelines
  • An understanding of BancS systems
  • Experience working within a payments function
