Home ManagerWe are looking for an exceptional, dynamic & innovativeHome Managerto contribute to an effective service to meet the needs of our Client.The Home Manager main purpose will be:· To be registered with the Care Inspectorate and to comply with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 and Associated Regulations.· To be responsible at Home level for compliance with all relevant regulation.· To be responsible for the efficient day-to-day and long-term management of the Home.· To establish and operate the Home ensuring the wellbeing of both Service Users and staff in line with the guidelines and general philosophy of The Company.· To organise and lead staff in the provision of a high standard of nursing care in accordance with medical prescription.· To attain agreed levels of turnover and profitability and to adhere to annual operating budgets.The Home Manager Responsibilities will be:· Overall day-to-day management of the Home.· Implement and evaluate agreed action plans.· Implement procedures as laid down by The Company’s.· Recruit, appoint, train and regularly evaluate staff.· Prepare and implement duty rotas.· Be aware of, and implement, all procedures appertaining to the running of the Home as laid down in Health and Local Authority guidelines, in particular:a) Admissions and discharge procedures and dealing with deaths.b) Financial affairs dealing with Social Services and private residents.c) Health and Safety.d) Protection of Vulnerable Adults.e) Fire procedures.f) Drug control.g) Record keeping.h) Complaints.i) Ensure that nursing practice is correct and carried out in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).j) Liaise with medical, other professional staff, relatives, and representatives of the local community in the promotion of good relationships.k) Manage sales and marketing strategies in such a manner as to maximise occupancy and bed rates.l) Carry out relief management in other Homes as required.m)Carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard to the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, Service Users and other persons.n) Any other duties within the purview of the post.To work as a Home Manager in this unique role you will need: To be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council· To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the aging process· To demonstrate knowledge of the care planning and risk management process· To have leadership experience· To demonstrate commitment to The Company’s Equal Opportunities policy· To demonstrate clear and concise communication skillsThe successful candidate will benefit from: · Home Manager – generous bonus structure, 6 weeks holiday/year· Salary £60k + enhanced bonus structure OTE 90K· Nurses – Pay NMC PIN· All – Refer a friend bonus· New Build HomeLocation:HaddingtonFor More information APPLY today and I will be in touch!Giuliana Cassiano
