Job Description

Denholm is delighted to be partnering with one of our clients in search of a new Campaign OperationsExecutive to join their growing Edinburgh team.This agency is well-known for specialising in data strategy, marketing database development, customer journey planning, predictive modelling, marketing campaign planning, performance reporting and data visualisation. At the heart of the operation is connectingclients data (from multiple sources) to provide targeted marketing activity and insight, all across different sectors with diverse clients - from Matalan to Lloyds Banking Group, and handling over a million transactions a week.As Campaign Operations Executive, youll be crucial to the collation of insight and data to drive targeted direct, email and digital marketing activities as part of the Campaigns Team.What youll be doing:

  • Provide hands-on support building and executing marketing campaigns, primarily for email and mobile APP Contact.
  • Work closely with retail and banking clients, understanding data and build requirements from brief to execution.
  • Provide accurate campaign setup and delivery, providing strategic feedback along the way.
  • Liaise with the Client Services Team and technical data engineers on a day-to-day basis to meet client data selection requirements.
  • Be client facing and help deal with queries or project timelines.
Who were looking for:
  • Experience working on a CRM or ESP system.
  • Experience with digital marketing campaign setup and coding knowledge desirable
  • Awareness of customer data usage, including best practice and targeted marketing practices.
  • A strong interest in marketing, particularly direct customer marketing.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic HTML coding knowledge, or at least an interest or some experience with coding.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a good attention to detail - especially when working under deadline pressure.
  • Experience of programs like Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks or Photoshop desirable.
  • Good day to day usage of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Approach everything with a can do attitude.
  • Highly motivated and keen to learn, with a positive attitude to work and team spirit.
